Restaurants

St Ives/Carbis Bay

SEAFOOD CAFE
Without a doubt, our favourite restaurant in St Ives even if you don’t like sea food! The steaks are simply delicious as well.
Go to the counter select your fresh fish or seafood and off they go to cook it. We had a beautiful meal and will be going back next time!
UPDATE FROM MAY 2023 – Food still great but prices have gone up considerably.

HARBOUR FISH & CHIPS

Gorgeous fish and chips with crushed mint peas and tartare sauce – this is also now our go to place for a sit down fish and chip meal, very high quality. Great takeaway option too.
UPDATE FROM MAY 2023 – still great and not too bad price wise.

PEPPERS

Great Italian restaurant in the cobbled streets of St Ives – booking essential. 01736 794014

THE PORTHMEOR CAFE, above Porthmeor Beach. 01736 793366

Plus Side – Stunning views, excellent quality food.
Minus Side – very small portions. We decided, had to be done once and from then on it was hot chocolate and a scone and the view! They seem happy for you to go there later in the evening to watch the sun set over the beach and just order a coffee and dessert!
(Please check with establishment as opening various depending on time of year)
